Hawaiian Airlines will launch flights between Honolulu and Brisbane later this year, with a three times weekly service beginning on November 28.
The carrier will operate a 262-passenger Boeing 767-300ER on the route with 18 business class seats and 244 in economy.
Chief executive Mark Dunkerley said the introduction of the flights ‚Äúreflect the strength of the Queensland market”.
Flights will depart Brisbane at 6.35pm on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving in Hawaii at 7.50am the same day.
The return departs Honolulu at 9.45am every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving into Brisbane at 4pm the following day.
It will take Hawaiian’s daily flights to Australia to 10 and add 40,000 seats annually to the route. Daily A330 services already operate to Sydney.
