Helloworld Travel has promoted Iain Summers to general manager Magellan & Helloworld Business Travel (HWBT) networks, effective immediately.
Summers joined the group in August 2023 and during his tenure has forged strong partnerships with the Magellan members. It is the engagement and support Summers has been providing the Magellan network that makes him the ideal executive to take on responsibility for the important HWBT network.
Iain will be supported by two dedicated staff members who will be focusing on interacting with the two networks daily.
“I am very much looking forward to working closely with such an established group of Business Travel industry professionals, and to the exciting times and achievements that lie ahead!” he said.
Summers was recently a guest panellist at Travel Weekly‘s annual Travel DAZE in Cairns offering some insights into how Magellan are managing everything from AI to training to destinations.
