Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa is marking its 130th anniversary with the unveiling of their newly refurbished private bathing rooms, a refreshed treatment menu and a stunning new look throughout the iconic property.
The property has also marked this significant milestone by teaming up with Ch 9’s The Block, whose cast recently called “tools down” on a renovation on site. The results of their hard work will be revealed in the series of episodes airing later this year, when one of the teams win the biggest challenge prize in The Block history.
Providing some much-awaited relief for those mineral bathing enthusiasts, there are now twelve private bathing areas open to enjoy, many of which offer a unique visual aesthetic to cater for a variety of tastes.
Whilst the Bathhouse Mineral Bathing Sanctuary Bathing remains closed until July 2025 for restoration works, guests are still invited to immerse themselves in the many other indulgences on offer, including soaking in serene seclusion in the private baths, the all-new treatment menu, the luxe accommodation, the historic Pavilion café and the gorgeous bush walks surrounding the property.
Belgravia Leisure’s General Manager of Wellness SJ Tilbury said the milestone presented the perfect opportunity to honour the Bathhouse’s legacy while unveiling a fresh vision for the future.
“Celebrating 130 years invites us to reflect on the deep connection so many guests have with this special place,” Tilbury said. “This transformation is a tribute to our heritage and a bold step forward. We’ve revitalised the entire property to elevate every touchpoint – whether it’s through our spa treatments, private bathing or a new locally inspired wellness menu at the Pavilion Cafe.
“To top it off, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with The Block. Their creativity and craftsmanship have brought something truly unique to Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa, and we can’t wait for our guests – and the rest of Australia – to see what they’ve created.”
New Spa Menu
Guests can now book from a thoughtfully curated new spa menu, featuring luxurious body and facial treatments.
Highlights include four indulgent new body rituals such as the Cacao Chocolate and Shiraz Body Scrub in partnership with Australian spa brand Waterlily, and four bespoke facials using globally renowned skincare brand Elemis.
A newly renovated private steam room experience is also now available for one or two guests. The ritual begins with a visit to the Apothecary, where guests blend their own custom body scrub with natural ingredients, followed by a self-guided steam experience that’s both purifying and deeply relaxing.

As part of the celebrations, guests are invited to participate in the Soaking up the memories social media competition by sharing their favourite photos or memories from their time at Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa.
