Heritage Expeditions’ new sales manager Australia Chris le Roux celebrated his appointment with the cruise company by hosting an 11-agent famil on board Heritage Expeditions’ flagship Heritage Adventurer.
Based in Queensland, le Roux joins recently announced head of global sales Robert Halfpenny as the pioneering family-owned and operated small ship cruise company expands its reach into the Australian market.
Heritage Expeditions director Aaron Russ said le Roux’s impressive industry credentials, extensive contacts, knowledge and track record of excellence spanning more than 20 years made him the natural choice for the key role in the company’s growth strategy.
“Chris is a highly thought of key player in the travel industry and we are delighted to welcome him to the Heritage Expeditions family and look forward to working with him and Robert during this exciting growth phase,” Russ said.
Halfpenny agreed saying Chris brought with him a rare pedigree of travel nous, industry respect and tenacity honed during an impressive career spanning Contiki, On The Go Tours, Globus Family of Brands, Bench Africa, and Evolution Travel Collective.

Chris, who is currently hosting the first of three groups of ANZ trade partner famils on Heritage Expeditions The Best of New Zealand voyage over the next three weeks, said he was thrilled to join Heritage Expeditions.
