Heritage Expeditions took a select group of leading Australian travel advisors on a famil trip through destinations in the Philippines and Indonesia.
The group of high-performing advisors joined Heritage Expeditions on its Asian Island Odyssey voyage island hopping aboard the company’s 140-guest flagship, Heritage Adventurer.
Heritage Expeditions Australian sales manager Chris le Roux hosted the guests throughout their journey through the remote islands of the Philippines and Indonesia.
“A journey full of first experiences, from swimming with whale sharks and stingless jellyfish to encountering green sea turtles, sea snakes, rare wildlife and heartfelt welcomes from remote island communities,” Main Beach Travel’s Vicki Carmichael said. “This expedition was as enriching culturally as it was spectacular environmentally.”

Asian Island Odyssey explored some of the most biodiverse regions on Earth and visited isolated islands home to an extraordinary array of rare and endemic wildlife, as well as rich histories, diverse cultures and enduring traditions.
Heritage Expeditions’ South Pacific voyages range from 14 to 19 days and operate through the remote regions of Indonesia, Melanesia, Micronesia, the Philippines and Borneo, giving travel advisers the opportunity to craft unforgettable pre- or post-voyage extensions for their clients.
About a year ago, Heritage Expeditions took select travel advisors on a famil trip to Japan.
