Following the departure of longstanding Public Relations manager Miryana Power this week, Hong Kong Tourism Board in AU/NZ have taken the step to restructure the organisation internally.
Power left the organisation on Tuesday after 15 years of “dedicated service”, according to regional director, Australia, New Zealand & South Pacific, Andrew Clark, who told Travel Weekly the move prompted the tourism board to look at reviewing positions within the team to meet current market demand.
Long term member, Jane Scribner will move from manager Consumer Marketing & Business Tourism to now oversee all PR under the title manager Consumer Communications which will encompass trade.
Meanwhile another HKTB veteran, Lisa Lee, will expand upon her Trade Marketing manager role to include Business Tourism.
