Hockey Australia has extended its partnership with SportsLink Travel, continuing its commitment as the non-exclusive travel and Tour partner of Hockey Australia.

SportsLink Travel’s all-inclusive, world-class travel package experiences saw hockey fans enjoy a stellar, action-packed 2024, with the opportunity to witness the Hockeyroos and Kookaburras at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Thanks to SportsLink Travel, audiences have the chance to be the first to get their hands on tickets to the FIH Pro League leg in Sydney next February before they go on sale, with three to five-star travel packages now available. The FIH Pro League returns to Australian soil for the first time in two years as the Kookaburras launch their title defence.

SportsLink Travel have also just released initial expressions of interest for travel to the 2026 Hockey World Cups, including Hockeyroos and Kookaburras supporter tours, a Coaching Tour, junior development tour and masters tour.

“As a global sport, we are thrilled to continue this exciting partnership with SportsLink Travel, who make it easy for our fans to follow our Hockeyroos and Kookaburras across the globe. They also provide key support for our grassroots Hookin2Hockey program and options for our Masters Hockey participants to travel to events,” Hockey Australia CEO David Pryles said.

“We’re really pleased to offer audiences the opportunity to head to Sydney next February and back both teams in the stands in Sydney with SportsLink Travel packages making it easy to secure tickets first, plus flights and accommodation, with a range of options on offer.”

In addition to the travel packages for fans, new terms of agreement with SportsLink Travel will see Hockey Australia’s Masters participants (aged 35 plus) have access to a range of self-funded package options for various Masters events nationally and internationally, including the 2025 Trans Tasman Challenge. SportsLink will also continue to support Hookin2Hockey, Hockey Australia’s national participation program for for 5-12 year olds.

“SportsLink Travel are extremely happy to renew our partnership with Hockey Australia. This is the sport where the company was founded over 20 years ago. The continued relationship with Hockey Australia compliments the existing state member association partnerships we also have,” SportsLink Travel CEO, Paul Kelly said.

“We look forward to servicing the hockey community as a whole, from the Hookin2Hockey grassroots level, through to the Hockeyroos and Kookaburras competing on the world stage, and all the National Championship age events in between.

“The packages for the Pro League in Sydney next February are of great value. We are pleased to also just opened expressions of interest for our 2026 World Cup tours in Holland and Belgium too.”
