Holiday Inn & Suites Sunshine Coast in the centre of Maroochydore has reopened after a major renovation and rebrand toward family-friendly values.

The Pro-invest Group-led hotel introduces a new restaurant, enhanced guest rooms, and an updated lobby to complement its existing signature rooftop pool.

The restaurant, named Nineteen Restaurant & Bar, is a casual dining space with warm blonde timber interiors that serves a daily buffet breakfast alongside a delicious all-day menu of coastal favourites complemented by a selection of beer, wine and coastal-inspired cocktails.

The 181-room property, which initially opened in 2022, now features rooms and suites with a beach-inspired palette with duck egg blue bedheads, a white and ocean blue-dipped accent curtain, and coastal artworks. The 41 one-bedroom suites provide a substantial upgrade in space, offering a kitchenette and separate living area with a sofa bed, with select suites also including a private balcony.

All guest rooms debut a beach-inspired palette.

Additional facilities include a fitness centre, self-service laundry, 24-hour reception, and two naturally-lit meeting rooms catering for events of up to 60 guests, while the Rooftop is also available for functions of up to 70 people.

“This repositioning reflects our focus on delivering high-quality, guest-led experiences across our portfolio, while enhancing each asset’s connection to its local market,” Pro-invest Group chief executive officer Tim Sherlock said. “At Sunshine Coast, we’ve built on a strong trading foundation to introduce new dining, upgraded suites and expanded family-friendly offerings that respond directly to how guests want to stay and travel today.”

Landmarks near the property include shopping destination Sunshine Plaza, Cotton Tree Beach, and the upcoming Maroochy Private Hospital.
