Holland America Line recently hosted a select group of travel agents and partners on a famil aboard MS Rotterdam as they headed to Norway and Denmark.

Leaving from the brand’s home in Rotterdam, the famil brought together seven valued travel agents and their partners to experience, firsthand, the line’s expertise in the Northern European region and its signature service, immersive excursions and world-class dining offerings.

The group sailed aboard MS Rotterdam, one of the line’s Pinnacle-class ships, and enjoyed a seven-day curated itinerary that showcased the region’s most dramatic natural scenery, including Mandal and Oslo in Norway, scenic cruising in Oslofjord and a day of exploration in Copenhagen.

“It was a pleasure to host such an engaged and enthusiastic group aboard Rotterdam,” Holland America Line key account manager, Erin King, said. “These famils serve as a valuable way to bring our partners into the heart of the Holland America Line experience, highlighting our HISTORY Channel partnership, destination depth through our shore excursions and Destination Dining program, and other onboard programs.”

Onboard, the agents sampled a wide range of dining experiences, relaxed in beautiful surroundings, and soaked up Holland America Line’s acclaimed music venues, including Rolling Stone Rock Room, B.B. King’s Blues Club and Billboard Onboard.

“It was a truly spectacular experience cruising through the Norwegian Fjords, both on land and at sea,” Our Vacation Centre international department manager and famil trip guest, Lynn Hew, said. ” The entertainment onboard Rotterdam was tremendous, with the incredibly talented performers across Rolling Stone, B.B. King’s Blues Club, and Billboard made for nights full of dancing and nostalgia.

“Having the chance to watch the City at Sea lecture made me really appreciate just how much goes into bringing the Holland America Line experience to life, and the quality and variety of dining onboard left me spoiled for choice.”

The famil served as both a celebration of travel partnerships while also reinforcing Holland America Line’s blend of service, comfort, and immersive destination experiences.
