Three more cruise lines have announced new payment options available for Australian travel agents to utilise, following the closure of eNett’s electronic funds transfer (EFT) remittance system.
Holland America Line and Seabourn have launched Bank Payments in POLAR Online, a free way for agents to process payments instantly 24/7.
“Funds for approved payments are applied to bookings immediately, removing the delays and frustrations of chasing payments or dealing with missed payment deadlines,” the Carnival-owned lines said in a joint statement.
“This new way to pay is available in addition to guest or store credit/debit card payment options.”
Meanwhile, MSC Cruises, has announced not one, but two new payment options for travel partners in Australia.
The cruise line is now accepting payment from both the TravelPay and MintEFT platforms, in addition to the option of direct bank transfer, which remains unchanged.
MSC said travel partners who wish to register for either TravelPay or MintEFT can contact the platforms directly.
Last month, sister lines Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises decided to adopt TravelPay’s solution in replacement of eNett’s EFT platform.
