The Sunshine Coast’s Novotel Twin Waters Resort has introduced a tailored multi-event mobile app, apparently making it the first hotel in Australia to adopt the innovative technology.
Entitled Events@NTWR, the AVPartners-designed app will act as both an interactive conference guide and a social network. Event documentation, videos and information about speakers, attendees and exhibitors will all be accessible through the platform, which is also integrated with social media. Venue maps will help attendees navigate the property’s 10 conference rooms, function venues and outdoor event spaces.
In addition, it offers maps of the neighbourhood and information on local attractions to help delegates make the most of their stay.
“At Novotel Twin Waters Resort we’re committed to staying ahead of the curve when it comes to offering a truly special conference experience that is accessible and relevant for today’s conference delegate,” general manager Warwick Kahl said.
The new development represents an enhancement of the two year relationship already existing between the two parties, with AVPartners providing audiovisual support and technical assistance during the venue’s events.
AVPartners Novotel Twin Waters Resort Partner Andrew Delangen described the modern conference delegate as “technologically savvy and well connected”.
“They want access to the latest technology at their fingertips,” he said. “Introducing an event app was a logical next step.”
