With a coastline spanning almost 1,200 fjords and 50,000 islands across more than 100,000 kilometres, Norway is one of the world’s most compelling cruise destinations.

Boasting small-ship access to remote locations and 130 years of intimate destination knowledge, a voyage with Hurtigruten is one of the most authentic ways to take the pulse of the Scandinavian nation.

Now the line is adding further incentive to drive forward bookings, with early bird savings of up to $1,000 available on select 2027-2028 voyages*. What’s more, travellers can start their journey with a $250 deposit per person across a range of spectacular itineraries.

The original Norwegian cruise

Heralded as the ‘World’s Most Beautiful Voyage’, Hurtigruten’s 12-day Coastal Express immerses travellers in Norway’s everyday charm.

Sailing round-trip from the colourful southern city of Bergen, this time-honoured journey traces rugged coastlines before crossing the Arctic Circle to the snow-covered town of Kirkenes.

Here, the country’s natural drama is on full display. Guests can take in fjords dotted with fishing villages and glaciers, sprawling farmland and Arctic cities illuminated by the Northern Lights in winter and the Midnight Sun in summer.

The Coastal Express stops in 34 enchanting ports, following a route that Hurtigruten has operated for more than 130 years.

With select Original Voyages priced from only $1,770 per person and sailing until March 31, 2028 there has never been a better time to book with Hurtigruten.

All-inclusive Signature voyages

Clients seeking an even more effortless experience can opt for a Signature Voyage.
Offering longer daytime stops with shore excursions tailored to travellers’ preferences and an enhanced onboard education programme, each Signature Voyage immerses travellers in a handpicked collection of Norway’s most awe-inspiring destinations.
Add to that a generous drinks package and award-winning regional cuisine across three restaurants and your clients will want for nothing.
Sailing round-trip from Oslo, the 15-day North Cape Line follows the Northern Lights from Kristiansand, Norway’s southernmost city, to the North Cape. The all-inclusive winter expedition travels from October 2026 to December 2027 with prices starting from $5,629 per person.
The summer months bring with them the Midnight Sun, best experienced on The Svalbard Line itinerary. Across 15 days, guests follow the coast past Trondheim, Tromsø and the North Cape before crossing the Barents Sea to Longyearbyen and remote Ny-Ålesund. Priced from $7,381 per person, the round-trip itinerary departs Bergen from May 2026 to September 2027.

The Hurtigruten difference

Hurtigruten has braved Norway’s weather, navigated its fjords, explored its islands and sustained its communities for over 130 years.

Guests can tap into this deep regional knowledge with the line’s onboard Expedition Teams. Each sailing is complemented by engaging lectures and excursions guided by local experts.
Hurtigruten’s award-winning coastal kitchen brings an authentic taste of the Arctic to the table, with traditional cuisine and seasonal, sustainable ingredients gathered from Norwegian shores. In fact, 80 per cent of the company’s onboard food and beverages come from a network of hand-selected local providers.
From plate to partnerships, every element of your clients’ cruise is thoughtfully curated to offer the most immersive and authentic taste of Norway.
