HX Expeditions has appointed Cinzia Amadio as senior vice president of global marketing, reporting directly to CEO Gebhard Rainer.
Amadio brings nine years of experience from Silversea where she drove global marketing execution, trade strategies and expedition business development.
She has extensive experience across luxury travel, brand building and digital transformation, combining a foundation in computer science engineering with expertise in branding, storytelling and AI.
Amadio most recently served as chief marketing and growth officer at ROAR AFRICA where she led marketing function across brand and performance.
As part of the HX executive team, Amadio will drive stronger alignment across teams as well as unifying brand strategy, digital performance and B2B trade communications.
Amadio said she is excited to join HX Expeditions at an important moment for the business.
“There’s a real opportunity to build on the strong brand foundations already in place and connect brand storytelling, marketing performance, and digital capability more closely.
“By working together across these areas, we can deliver clearer, more consistent experiences for our guests and strengthen every stage of their journey with HX,” she said.
CEO Gebhard Rainer said that Amadio’s appointment will strengthen the brand’s global presence.
“We are delighted to welcome Cinzia to HX. She brings a unique combination of digital expertise, brand-building capability, and deep experience in both the luxury and cruise sectors, which will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen the guest experience and grow the business,” Rainer said.
Headquartered in London, HX Expeditions is the world’s oldest expedition cruise company.
The company employs almost 1,000 professionals worldwide and operates a fleet of five modern ships, sailing to more than 250 destinations.
