HX Expeditions has strengthened its presence in Australia and New Zealand, appointing three new team members as it continues to build out its regional sales capability.

The expedition cruise line has welcomed Ben Gorman, Kat Nitarski and Rebecca Bussell to its ANZ team, which is led by director of sales Amber Wilson and includes key account manager Gareth Coakley.

The expansion comes just over a year after HX established its dedicated ANZ sales and marketing team in March 2025.

Wilson said the region remains a key focus for growth as demand for experience-led travel continues to rise.

“The ANZ market continues to be a key growth region for HX, with more travellers seeking immersive, experience-led exploration,” she said.

“Our trade partners are at the heart of everything we do. By investing in experienced, locally based team members, we’re making it easier for advisors to access the tools, knowledge, and support they need to confidently sell expedition travel.”

The new appointments will boost coverage across key markets.

Gorman joins as business development manager based in Melbourne, bringing experience from The Travel Corporation and Rocky Mountaineer, with a focus on the Victorian market.

Nitarski, also appointed business development manager, is based in Brisbane and will support advisors across Queensland. She brings 14 years’ experience in small group touring, specialising in niche destinations.

Bussell joins as sales coordinator in Sydney, supporting the ANZ team across trade activity, communications and partner engagement. She has previously worked with American Express Premium Travel Services and Rocky Mountaineer.
