Hyatt Hotels Corporation has appointed Mina Li as regional vice president and country manager for Hyatt Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.

In this role, Li will be responsible for leading Hyatt’s strategic growth and brand expansion across the Pacific region, while strengthening relationships with existing and prospective owners. Working closely with regional leadership teams and general managers, she will support operational excellence and the continued delivery of high-quality guest experiences across Hyatt’s portfolio.

Based in Sydney, Li will report to the President – Greater China and Growth, Asia Pacific, Stephen Ho (Stephen Ho Kok-siong), and will play a key role in advancing Hyatt’s long-term growth strategy in the region.

Originally from Hong Kong, Li brings a truly international perspective to the role, having trained in the United States early in her career and spent the past several years working across Australia and New Zealand. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master’s degree in Property from The University of Melbourne.

“I’m honoured to take on this role at a time of continued opportunity across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands,” Li said.

“Hyatt has a strong foundation in the region, and I look forward to working closely with our owners to support their long-term success, unlock growth opportunities, and ensure each asset benefits from Hyatt’s global scale, brands, and operational expertise.”

Li brings extensive experience across hospitality advisory, investment, and asset management. She has held senior roles with leading hotel advisory and real estate firms in Hong Kong and Australia, as well as with hotel ownership groups, and most recently has operated as an independent hospitality investment and asset management professional specialising in hospitality real estate.
