The IATA ID Card is the only globally recognised industry identification card serving the needs of both the travel professional and industry suppliers.

Relied on by IATA member airlines and travel suppliers, it is used to administer industry benefits and concessionary rates to travel professionals, including premium training opportunities.

The IATA ID Card also offers in select markets daily savings and retail merchandise deals on everyday purchases including gift cards.

AFTA’s delighted to be in a position to offer even more benefits to our members, and on behalf of the travel industry I thank IATA for their ongoing support.”

– Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) CEO Dean Long

“I encourage those considering joining AFTA in 2023 to note our globally recognised and longstanding accreditation scheme, ATAS, and the discounted IATA ID Card which offers a great value way to enjoy the same experiences they offer clients.”

“Travel professionals who renew their AFTA membership get a great value deal in not only the heavily discounted IATA ID Card, but also the ongoing support, education and training that’s part and parcel of our membership experience.”

“AFTA membership is the best way to enhance your professional status in the travel industry – with domestic and global suppliers, and with your clients.”

“We are delighted to collaborate with AFTA in providing their members with this special deal for the IATA ID Card. Travel businesses are an important partner in the travel value chain, and as the travel sector recovers from three years of COVID, we look forward to other areas where we can work together and contribute to the growth and success of the entire travel industry.” Matteo Zanarini, International Air Transport Association (IATA) Area Manager South West Pacific, said.
