Princess Cruises recently welcomed a group of travel professionals onboard the all-new Star Princess for a 7-night Spain and France itinerary, offering a firsthand look at the ship’s elevated guest experience.
The journey began with flights on Singapore Airlines, followed by a short stay in Barcelona at Innside by Meliá Barcelona Apolo where they explored the city’s Gothic Quarter and dined at the historic Los Caracoles restaurant before boarding.
On embarkation, guests were impressed with the seamless boarding process, stunning design and attentive crew. The ship’s three-level Atrium served as a vibrant social hub, while staterooms featured modern amenities including king beds, walk-in showers, and spacious balconies.
The Princess Medallion added a layer of convenience, allowing guests to unlock staterooms, order food and drinks, and shop onboard with ease.
The itinerary included stops in Malaga, Gibraltar, Cartagena, and Marseille, each offering a mix of cultural exploration and scenic charm.

Onboard, guests enjoyed specialty dining at venues such as The Butcher’s Block by Dario and Love By Britto, casual favorites like Alfredo’s Pizzeria, and standout entertainment including a candlelight concert in The Dome. Spa facilities were also well-utilised, rounding out the wellness offering.
Despite its 4,300-guest capacity, Star Princess maintained a spacious and open feel thanks to thoughtful design. With its upcoming deployment to Alaska, the ship presents a compelling option for travellers seeking a premium cruise experience in a spectacular destination.
