For those seeking profound self-discovery and personal transformation, the Journeymen Collective offers an immersive experience unlike any other.

Its founders, Rob Grover and Gary Logan say their bespoke journey offers the power of psychedelic medicine with a meticulously designed framework of preparation, integration and guidance

“The experience begins well before people actually arrive,” Logan said.

“Our main offering is a four-month program that includes a month of weekly online preparation, four full days in-person and three months of weekly integration and implementation support.” Participants are carefully guided through a structured process that includes two ceremonies, each lasting five to six hours, along with integration days to help process and apply the insights gained.

The experience draws in: high achievers, executives, entrepreneurs and purpose-driven individuals – looking for a deep and personalised experience.

Whether working one-on-one, with a ‘power partner’ such as a spouse or business partner, or in small groups of up to five, the focus remains on tailoring the journey to individual needs.

“That’s part of our expertise,” Logan continued.  “We spend a fair amount of time getting to know people before we even accept them into the program.”

A journey, not a trip

A crucial distinction is the nature of the experience. “We don’t call it a trip; it’s a journey,” Logan clarified. “A trip is something you do with friends on a Friday night. This is a journey where you’re laying down in a luxurious environment, eyes closed, and experiencing five to six hours of meditation with the medicine.”

Guests enter a deeply meditative state, guided by curated music rather than chanting or other stereotypes. The exploration unveils limiting beliefs and unresolved energies and offers the chance to rewrite one’s narrative. “You see different screens of your mind and encounter stories that may be holding you back,” Grover continued. “It’s a fully supported, inner-guided journey that works on spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical planes.”

The inspiration

The Journeymen Collective’s origins are deeply personal. After experiencing the sudden loss of a close family member, the founders grappled with grief and depression that their existing toolkit couldn’t alleviate. A serendipitous suggestion led to their first experience with a medicine man and a transformational mushroom journey.

“I went on that journey to know myself better and to serve my clients better,” Grover said. “The grief and depression were gone, and I found a new level of devotion to my work. I wanted to have deeper, more impactful conversations that truly create transformation.”

This profound change inspired them to work with the medicine man over several months, learning to guide others on similar journeys. “We just stepped forward into the unknown, and six years later, we’re still going strong.”

Navigating legal and cultural terrain

The Journeymen Collective works within a unique legal landscape. While psychedelic mushrooms remain a grey area in many parts of the world, the founders emphasise a respectful, discreet approach. “It’s a mushroom that grows in the forest,” they say, underscoring the natural origins of the medicine.

Safety and preparation are paramount. Participants undergo a rigorous intake process, including multiple calls to assess their readiness and alignment with the program. “We prepare people on spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical levels,” the founders explain. “It’s like training for an experience that our modern cultures have largely forgotten.”

The future of psychedelic journeys

As interest in psychedelic medicine grows, the collective sees a global return to practices that foster connection and community. “People are seeking connection with themselves and others. They’re recognising the value of fostering healthy relationships and leaving behind legacies of love and harmony.”

Looking ahead, the Journeymen Collective is exploring new ways to expand its offerings, though the details remain closely guarded. “We move in silence,” they say with a smile. “But we’re always looking to evolve and serve in deeper, more impactful ways.”

For those ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, the Journeyman Collective offers not just an escape, but a path to transformation – one that begins well before arrival and resonates long after the retreat concludes.
