Inside Travel Group has appointed Nichole Steadman as the new business development manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Steadman brings with her an extensive network of connections and a passion for building industry relationships. Most recently, she worked as key account manager for Collette, and has held roles as business development manager at BKB Holidays and business development partner at FCTG Independent, Australia.

Prior to this, Steadman worked as Queensland state sales manager at AAT Kings for more than 16 years and held frontline sales positions at Future Fund and Territory Discoveries.

Inside Travel ANZ Trade Partnerships manager Shane Voss said that he is delighted to welcome Steadman to the team.

“We’re beyond pleased to have Niki join the Australian trade team at a key season of growth for our brands and our trade partnerships,” Voss said.

“Niki is known and loved across the Australian travel trade sector. She brings fantastic energy and deep understanding of the industry with 20 years experience including a lengthy tenure with The Travel Corporation.

“We’re confident she’ll be an incredible support to our trade partners and help us continue delivering the outstanding service we’re known for.”

Steadman said she is looking forward to getting out on the road and connecting with agents across Australia.

“I’m incredibly excited to join the team at Inside Travel and work with such well-respected specialist brands that are making a real difference in the industry – particularly when it comes to addressing the issue of overtourism,” she said.

“As interest in Japan and Asia continues to grow within the Australian market, I’m looking forward to helping our trade partners better understand the unique experiences that make these destinations so special.

“I can’t wait to build new relationships, strengthen existing ones and support agents in creating unforgettable journeys for their clients with Inside Travel.“
