Elyse Palmer from Travel Managers is the winner of this year’s Inside Travel ‘Not Another Boring Prize’ as the cultural adventure travel specialist launches its 2026 incentive.
The inaugural ‘Not Another Boring Prize’ was introduced in 2025 to mark Inside Travel’s 25th anniversary and generated overwhelming enthusiasm from the trade. The 2026 incentive offers agents another chance to win an extraordinary holiday worth $40,000 – with a potential plus-one – across its InsideJapan and InsideAsia brands.
This year’s winner, Palmer, will embark on a personalised cultural adventure created by Inside Travel’s expert teams.
“I still can’t quite believe it,” Palmer said. “It honestly still feels like a dream. I’m so incredibly grateful and excited. I’m already dreaming up ways to turn this into a truly once in a lifetime trip and can’t wait to start planning something special.
“What I love most about Inside Travel is that their itineraries go beneath the surface – they really help travellers connect with local people and culture. I know this trip is going to be something I’ll talk about for the rest of my life.”
The 2026 incentive launches alongside the new Inside Travel Agent Hub. To enter, agents simply need to attend at least one agent-focused webinar and make a minimum of one booking before the end of 2026. The 2026 incentive runs until December. Full details can be found HERE.
“After the amazing response to last year’s first-ever incentive, we’re thrilled to keep the momentum going,” ANZ Trade Partnership manager Shane Voss said. “Our trade partners are such a big part of what we do, and we want to continue offering opportunities for them to experience an Inside Travel cultural adventure firsthand.”
In addition to the major prize, Inside Travel is once again offering 10 complimentary places for agents on any InsideJapan or InsideAsia small group tour to Japan or Korea.
“Small Group Tours are more popular than ever and we’re challenging agents to book seven passengers for a spot on one of our tours, or 10 passengers to secure a place for themselves and a plus one,” Voss added. “The tour prize is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, with 10 places available across our Japan Unmasked, Discover Japan, or Must-see Japan tours departing in off-peak 2027.
“This incentive is about deepening our partnership with agents and giving them the chance to better understand what their customers experience – immersive cultural adventures delivered with the care and personal touch we’re known for.”
Inside Travel Australia Managing Director Tim Oakes added, “We’re delighted to celebrate our 2025 winner today, and we can’t wait to surprise someone with another unforgettable prize next year.
“Incentives like this highlight just how important agents are to us and help strengthen their connection with our brands.”
