International Rail has emerged from the travel downturn with a brand new booking platform, a full customer support team and a sale on Mobile passes to boot!

The Melbourne-based company, which has been operating special rail services for 17 years, have launched a new platform that connects directly to Rail Europe’s new ERA rail aggregation solution – opening live bookings to the majority of European railways, including Eurostar, Trenitalia, DB Bahn, SNCF and many more.

The company’s wide range of rail passes, including Eurail and Swiss passes, are now offered as mobile passes that can now be downloaded to a customer’s device.

Owner and managing director Jonathan Hume said bookings are self-managed enabling agents to make changes or process refunds directly in the system. As an added benefit, all rail passes and train tickets are now electronic, with agents receiving them directly to their email inbox.

“We will continue to add products and destinations to the platform, with Japan Rail Passes to be released next,” Hume said.

Products that are not able to be booked online will be fulfilled by International Rail’s support team, including premium rail products and trains in USA/Canada, Australia, NZ and Asia.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with Rail Europe to build and launch this exciting booking platform in our business. This exciting booking system will further strengthen our position as the only locally owned and operated global rail specialist in the market,” Hume added.

To celebrate, International Rail is offering Eurail Mobile passes with a 15 per cent discount for all bookings made by the end of July, with all passes valid for up to 11 months from the date of issue.
