Intrepid Travel has revealed its 2022 early-bird lineup, giving Aussie travellers a better shot at booking the brand’s best-selling domestic tours.

The updated line-up will offer travellers a range of new tour dates departing in 2022 for Intrepid’s best-selling trips which have been fully booked for months: Cradle Mountain Overland Track and Larapinta Trek.

Both trips are set to offer Australian travellers an active adventure with some of the most iconic landscapes Australia has to offer.

Cradle Mountain Overland Track is a six-day guided trip along Australia’s most famous overland track that traverses temperate rainforest, eucalyptus groves, alpine moors and valleys.

Guests can skirt the edges of bright blue lakes and take in views of waterfalls and towering peaks in the distance.

Highlights include camping under star-filled skies, waking up to dramatic landscapes, and taking the chance to tackle side trips like summiting Cradle Mountain and the island’s highest peak Mt Ossa.

Larapinta Trek takes guests on one of Australia’s greatest multi-day walks, the Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory.

On this five-day trip, your clients will experience the challenges and rewards of undertaking an active adventure while hiking, swimming and sitting around the campfire.

Highlights include exploring one of the most spectacular chasms in the West MacDonnell Ranges, the Ormiston Gorge, cooling off in a year-round waterhole, enjoying the view at the summit of Mt Sonder, and enjoying a unique experience of camping under the star-filled desert skies.
