Intrepid Travel has strengthened its PR team in Australia and New Zealand with a new structure and senior appointments, as the business continues to grow its brand presence across the region.
Zoë Tostevin joins Intrepid with over 15 years’ experience across PR, brand and storytelling, working at prominent agencies in both Melbourne and Sydney, and most recently leading major global campaigns during her seven years at Treasury Wine Estates. She will lead ANZ’s PR & Corporate Communications team, overseeing activity across the region and reporting to Intrepid’s Managing Director ANZ, Brett Mitchell.
Commenting on her appointment Zoë said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Intrepid at such a pivotal time for the brand. Intrepid has long stood out as one of those brands doing meaningful work and shaping conversation. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to build on that momentum, and to champion the joy of travelling with Intrepid, the power of connection, and the magic of sharing in the uncommon.”
Brett Mitchell, managing director ANZ, said Tostevin’s leadership will help elevate the brand even further.
“Zoë brings deep experience working across major brands, high-impact campaigns and complex stakeholder environments,” he said. “Her leadership will be instrumental as we continue strengthening Intrepid’s brand presence across Australia and New Zealand.”
As part of the new structure, Sarah Lindsay has been promoted to Head of Consumer PR ANZ. Lindsay joined Intrepid in 2022 and has led some of the brand’s biggest consumer stories in recent years. She will now oversee all consumer PR across the region. Joining Sarah’s team is Beth Tedstone, who has been appointed PR & Social Coordinator ANZ. Tedstone joins from the Victorian Government’s Suburban Rail Loop communications team and will support PR and social activity from Intrepid’s Melbourne office.
These changes reflect Intrepid’s continued investment in building a strong, well-resourced PR function in ANZ, the business’ biggest source markets.
