Intrepid Travel has revealed its new trips for 2025, debuting 55 brand-new itineraries, 6 new countries, and over 200 new experiences.
From far-flung expeditions, journeys by rail and active adventures, to new 18-35 destinations, family holidays, and sailing trips, these trips offer travellers unique and immersive experiences, while exploring as part of a small group and with a local leader.
The new trips have been carefully curated to give travellers a variety of unique trip destinations and experiences.
New destinations for Intrepid in 2025 include: Ladakh, India; Hokkaido, Japan, Cape York, Australia, and Intrepid’s first land-based trip in Greenland.
The Maldives and the West African nations of Benin, Togo, Ghana, Senegal, and The Gambia have been introduced as new countries, meaning that Intrepid travellers will now be able to choose from over 120 countries worldwide, with trips spanning across the year with flexible travel times and varied durations.

Highlights of the new range
- Greenland Expedition (10 days from $9,450)
Most travellers visit Greenland as part of longer artic cruises, experiencing the country from the water with only occasional land excursions. Intrepid’s brand-new 10-Day Greenland Expedition takes travellers inland to explore Greenlandic culture and traverse the country’s diverse landscapes by foot. - Ghana (15 days from $4,945)
Intrepid is venturing into West Africa with a brand-new 15-Day Benin, Togo and Ghana Adventure, taking travellers to rarely visited spots like Teshie-Nungua in Ghana where skilled artisans craft elaborate art coffins symbolizing continued passion into the afterlife. - Trans-Mongolian Railway (11 days from $4,465)
An 11-day adventure which takes travellers to some of the world’s most remote regions, riding a section of the Trans-Mongolian Railway from China to Mongolia. Travellers take the bullet train to inner Mongolia, staying in a traditional ger campsite and joining a family of camel herders for lunch along the way. - Express to the Orient (15 days from $5,995)
Following the train route from Paris to Istanbul, this 15-day route takes travellers on local trains to follow the routes once used by the Orient Express carriages in the 19th century. From Strasbourg and Munich to Budapest and Plovdiv, there are plenty of stopovers to explore on this historical route. - India Trekking in Ladakh (14 days from $2,760)
Leaving the tourist track behind, travellers head to Leh and join the Markha Valley trek, a trek through almost untouched lands on a 14-day adventure. This unique one-off trip hosted by Intrepid’s non-profit, The Intrepid Foundation, invites travellers on an eight-day cycling adventure through Kenya’s wild landscapes in partnership with World Bicycle Relief. Travellers will spend three days cycling through diverse scenery, spotting wildlife like hippos, antelopes, zebras and crocodiles and exploring the wilds of the savanna. They have the chance to connect with other fundraisers and learn about the impact that their fundraising has on the local community.
