You came, you saw and you entered. And now the shortlist for the Australian Travel Awards is finally here!
Well, part one is. Parts two and three will be released over the coming days, so if you don’t see the category you entered into here, tune in tomorrow and Friday for the rest of the categories.
This inaugural awards programme will celebrate allllll the companies and people that make the Aussie travel industry so damn amazing – from wholesalers to airlines to tourism boards, 35 categories have the whole industry covered.
It’s also a great way to finish off a year of hard work with a bang and is set to be the best end-of-year industry party around.
There are some shiny trophies up for grabs and one massive Grand Prix Award for the most impressive entry overall – and we couldn’t be more excited to recognise the industry’s achievements over the year.
You can read more about the awards right here, but for now, here’s what you’ve all been waiting for! Part one of the 2018 Australian Travel Awards shortlist includes 11 categories, so check back tomorrow for more.
For those who made the shortlist, double check your company name is correct before you pop the champagne and dance for joy. No one wants a trophy with the wrong spelling on it. So for any and all changes, email Nicolle@travelweekly.com.auASAP. And by ASAP, we mean by November 1.
Oh, and if you’re one of the lucky few on this list, you must buy a ticket to the event. And you’ll only be able to get early bird tickets until next week! So head here to grab those while you still can.
The Australian Travel Awards will be held on November 30 at Paddington Town Hall, Sydney. Find all other info on the website here.
