Travel agency network iTravel has waived all franchise and administration fees for all franchisees, mobile agents and affiliates until further notice in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

Steve Labroski (pictured above, right), managing director of iTravel, said the decision to waive fees was “a no brainer” as agents and the wider travel industry come to grips with the crippling impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our network is like our family. We will protect them as much as we can,” he said.

Needless to say, iTravel agents were delighted and overwhelmed by the gesture, with many personally thanking the company.

Nannette Gledhill from Red Skies Travel, an affiliate of iTravel, said the fee waiver was “so appreciated”, and mobile agent Wendy Begue described it as “an amazing gesture”.
