INDABA is bringing back its Business Buyers Lounge again this year, creating the customised space for conducting business meetings.

Last year, the Premier Lounge proved such a success for business folk, that INDABA 2015 insisted on its return, giving exhibitors an exclusive area equipped to accommodate deal-making meetings with buyers.

There are two categories in the Business Buyers Lounge; exhibitors and non-exhibitors, with the latter given the option of conducting all their INDABA appointments from their bespoke Business Buyers Lounge hub.

South African Tourism has secured a record number of quality international travel trade buyers who have demonstrated their eagerness to make Africa an important component of their businesses.

Exhibitors in the Business Buyers Lounge are guaranteed quality meetings with hosted buyers every day of the show, while optimised, managed diaries will give exhibitors maximum face-to-face meeting time with the best hosted buyers through the INDABA Diary and Matchmaking system.

Shearwater Victoria Falls’s general manager Trish Mambinge said INDABA is an important fixture on the company’s marketing calendar.

“INDABA provides a good platform for buyer-supplier networking opportunities, the opportunity to meet new business partners and close deals as well as maintain existing relationships,” she said.

South African Tourism is making Business Buyer lounge hubs both accessible and affordable, with the cost per hub sitting at R20 000 for INDABA exhibitors and R30 000 for non-INDABA exhibitors (VAT inclusive).

This investment secures the services of a specialist, outsourced meeting and diary management team who will ensure a minimum of eight meetings per exhibitor per day with buyers.

The investment also ensures a private, six square metre meeting hub that features a desk, four chairs, electric plug point, two customised graphic panels and free Wi-Fi.

For more info and to find out if you meet the qualification criteria, visit the INDABA website.

INDABA takes place at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre, from May 9 to 11 2015.
