Janu Tokyo, one of the newest luxury hotels in the heart of Azabudai HIills, embraces global cuisines with an array of new dining options.
Open to both hotel guests and visitors, each venue celebrates the simple pleasure of coming together around the table, epitomising Janu’s brand values of balance and connection.

Janu Mercato
Partake in Italian culinary tradition blended with a vibrant, urban setting at the hotel’s largest venue. Three open kitchens serve freshly cooked dishes, bringing a touch of theatre to your dining experience in the high-ceiling, open plan restaurant centered around a towering olive tree art piece. Enjoy some homemade paste, fresh seafood, and gourmet charcuterie and cheeses in the main dining area or the outdoor terrace.
Janu Grill
Celebrate the simple pleasures of cooking over direct heat with the highest quality meats and seafood. The restaurant’s New York City meets Tokyo ambiance is embodied with a spectacular show kitchen complete with a 180-degree view onto Tokyo Tower. They have over 2,300 handpicked bottles of the finest wine to pair with prime Japanese cuts, USDA and New Zealand beef, and local seafood from Toyosu Market.
Hu Jing
Experience a distinctly Cantonese atmosphere that explores the heritage of the region. Head Chef Yusuke Yamaguchi prepares over 60 Chinese specialties, including Hu Jing’s signature Peking duck. There are also a variety of dim sum and a full, vegan menu to meet the dining needs of all guests. Come and celebrate with the family as Hu Jing features four private rooms for a more intimate meal.
Sumi
Get an exclusively omakase-style experience and delight in the finest seasonal ingredients, cooked over charcoal, paired with premium wine and sake and served with panoramic views of the Tokyo Tower. They offer a 12-course menu of appetisers and grilled Wagyu beef chosen by the chef and prepared with passion and flair. While counter seats surround the live kitchen for an interactive guest experience with the chefs, a limited number of table seats are also available.
Iigura
Visiting Japan would not be complete without sushi. Iigura stays true to the centuries old Edomae tradition with the freshest ingredients to make exquisite sushi, sashimi, and small plates. Chef’s prepare dishes at the six-seat counter for an omakase tasting of dishes that reflect the best of every season. Three tables are also available for guests seeking an a la carte experience.
Janu Bar
Spice up the night as the Janu Bar brings inspiration from across the city to the art of traditional mixology. Designed by one of Japan’s leading mixologists, Shuzo Nagumo, Janu Bar’s signature cocktails tread a creative journey through Tokyo, inspired by its eight districts – from Azabudai to Asakusa.
