Jetstar has announced a network-wide “Fare Play Sale” with 280,000 discounted flights available from $39, covering destinations across Australia and internationally.

Domestic fares include Sydney to Ballina Byron from $39, and Adelaide to Melbourne (Avalon) from $42, making long weekends and quick getaways an easy decision.

International sale fares are available as well, including popular holiday routes such as Perth to Bali (Denpasar) from just $149, giving travellers more opportunities to book a budget-friendly overseas escape.

Examples of the Fare Play Sale fares include:

Domestic:

  • Sydney to Ballina Byron from $39
  • Adelaide to Melbourne (Avalon) from $42
  • Brisbane to Newcastle from $55
  • Gold Coast to Sydney from $55
  • Canberra to Melbourne (Tullamarine) from $75
  • Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Darwin from $164
  • Perth to Sydney from $185

International:

  • Perth to Bali (Denpasar) from $149
  • Sydney to Vanuatu from $189
  • Adelaide to Bali (Denpasar) from $199
  • Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City from $199
  • Gold Coast to Bali from $215
  • Perth to Manila from $215
  • Brisbane to Rarotonga from $249
  • Cairns to Osaka (Kansai) from $259
  • Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Colombo from $319

The “Fare Play Sale” comes as Jetstar continues to expand its network and create even more choice for customers.

This year the low-cost carrier starts operating six new routes – one domestic and five international – providing more than 460,000 new low fares seats a year.

The new routes include Bali (Denpasar) from Melbourne Avalon Airport and the Sunshine Coast launching in March, with Melbourne – Colombo flights to follow in August.

“Providing Australians with access to low-fares travel is central to Jetstar’s mission,” Jetstar CEO Stephanie Tully said.

“Our ongoing investment in our fleet, including our Boeing 787 refurbishment program and pipeline of new Airbus A320neo and A321LR aircraft, means customers continue to have more low-fares seats and greater choice in the way they fly.

“With fares starting from just $39, our network wide sale gives more people the opportunity to take off more, for less.”

Members of Club Jetstar will have 24 hours of exclusive early access* from midday AEDT today and travellers can sign up to become a Club Jetstar member at Jetstar.com when making a booking.

Public access starts at midday AEDT 23 February, and the sale ends at 11.59pm AEDT on Friday 27 February, unless sold out prior.
