Jetstar is boosting capacity to South Korea with more flights launching this week and has announced a South Korea Sale offering discounted one-way fares from $269.
From 17 June 2025, the low-cost carrier is increasing flights between Sydney and Seoul from four per week to daily. With its existing three weekly flights from Brisbane to Seoul, Jetstar offers more than 340,000 seats a year between Australia and South Korea.
The increased capacity makes Jetstar the largest carrier between Australia and South Korea – home of K-pop, Korean barbeque, incredible shopping and cultural activities.
“We’ve seen strong demand for our direct flights from Sydney and Brisbane to the South Korean capital, Seoul,” Jetstar executive manager, Jenn Armor, said.
“Over 240,000 passengers have flown on our Sydney to Seoul route since it launched in October 2022 and our newer Brisbane to Seoul service, which took off in February 2024, has already seen over 100,000 passengers.
“With the launch of daily flights from Sydney to Seoul this week, we’ll offer another 100,000 seats a year on the route, helping our customers to takeoff more with low fares.”
The South Korea Sale fares include:
- Brisbane to Seoul (Incheon) from $269
- Sydney to Seoul (Incheon) from $309
- Melbourne (Avalon) to Seoul (Incheon) via Sydney from $378
- Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Seoul (Incheon) via Sydney from $405
Travel dates vary per route but include early July 2025 to mid-April 2026. The South Korea Sale ends at 11.59pm AEST on Sunday 22 June, unless sold out prior.
