Journey Beyond has released its rail journeys and holiday packages for 2024, earlier than ever before.

The tour operator has brought out its 2024 range ahead of schedule due to high demand on 2023 trips, according to Peter Egglestone, Journey Beyond’s chief revenue officer.

“We’ve also invested in our Off Train Experiences, crafting new ways to connect guests with the country as part of the journey,” Egglestone said.

Journey Beyond is particularly encouraging travellers and agents to get in their Ghan bookings asap, given the iconic rail journey’s popularity.

Travellers can opt for a transcontinental journey on the Indian Pacific between Sydney and Perth with a brand new package for the season; ‘Scenic Sip & Sail’, which includes a day on Rottnest Island and a seaplane flight to the Margaret River region for a day of wine tastings and exploration.

The Great Southern also returns to the tracks, wining and dining guests along the east coast between Brisbane and Adelaide on an unforgettable summer adventure.

The early launch covers rail journeys across all three trains, including both Platinum and Gold Service levels. Guests can also earn one Qantas Point per dollar spent on eligible bookings.
