Kansai International Airport has fully reopened nearly three weeks after Typhoon Jebi forced it to shut down, significantly reducing tourism to the region.

The typhoon struck the Kansai area on September 4th, causing unprecedented disruption to the Kansai region, including Kansai International Airport.

Runways were flooded, and some power facilities and bridges were damaged severely crippling operations. But service is now restored to pre-disaster levels.

The Kansai Tourism Bureau has released an online video, aimed at domestic and international travellers, reassuring them that the airport is now safe and fully operational and showing visuals of the damage inflicted on the airport and recovery efforts.
