Travel booking platform Klook has been officially appointed as a key B2B distribution partner for Merlin Entertainments.

Agents around the world are now able to book Merlin’s full inventory of products via the Klook Agent Marketplace, a one-stop ticketing and B2B distribution solution.

The new deal will allow for a more seamless booking experience for agents, as well as access to Merlin’s 17 products in Australia and New Zealand, alongside its global offering.

The Klook Agent Marketplace offers a net rate model, no booking volume commitments and instant e-ticketing.

Wilfred Fan, chief commercial officer at Klook, said: “We’re delighted to be the top choice for Merlin Entertainments to support its agents in booking attractions globally.

“Our Agent Marketplace is very easy to navigate, as it is based on our B2C software and has the key selling point that it is on a net rate model, making it much simpler for agents to use.”

Klook’s Agent Marketplace

Shannon Bailey, trade sales director at Merlin, said: “Klook has always been a key partner for us globally as an OTA to consumers, so it made sense to transition this relationship via its Agent Marketplace to B2B, too.

“As our attractions reopen around the world, we’re very excited to team up with Klook to make it easier for our agents to book for their customers.”

As Europe’s number one and the world’s second-largest visitor attraction operator, Merlin operates 137 attractions, 22 hotels and six holiday villages in 24 countries and across four continents.

Merlin currently has 10 attractions in Australia and New Zealand: LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, Madame Tussauds Sydney, Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures and Otway Fly Treetop Adventures & Zip Line, the Sydney Tower Eye, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium, SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast and Kelly Tarlton’s SEA LIFE Aquarium in Auckland.
