A new company changing the way travellers book experiences has just launched in Australia, and it’s set to be a fantastic value add for agents.

Introducing Klook. Founded in 2014, the platform hosts popular attractions, tours, local transportation, connectivity (WiFi, SIM cards), best foods, and unique experiences around the world on its website and award-winning app.

The Klook platform is extremely user-friendly supporting over 40 currencies and eight different languages.

87 per cent of Aussies travelled internationally at least once in 2018. Klook’s wide offering of over 80,000 experiences in 250 destinations identifies with this demand. In just a few taps, travellers can be ready to set their inner child free at Tokyo Disneyland, relax to a massage treatment in Phuket or marvel at the breathtaking views from a Mount Batur hike in Bali.

Closer to home, they can view the Sydney skyline from the iconic Harbour Bridge, up in the air with seaplane and helicopter tours, or on the water with harbour cruises.

“We are so excited to be expanding into Australia’s dynamic and passionate travel market. We have seen a shift in Australian consumers purchasing habits, moving away from material objects, and towards experiences,” said Chief Revenue Officer of Klook, Anita Ngai.

“We can’t wait to help make their travel experiences even more memorable with amazing adventures and activities worldwide. At Klook we empower travellers to easily discover destinations that are both popular and unique, we are eager for Aussies to experience this first hand.”

Klook has collaborated with a number of key partners in the industry, including both Tourism Australia and Visit Victoria, and is also considered a trusted partner of choice for many international brands like HSBC, WeChat and VISA among others.

Across the website and the app, Klook receives over 20 million visits to the site per month and has over 5 million reviews for consumers to read and digest before choosing an activity, tour, experience or attraction booking.
