Las Vegas has welcomed hundreds of Railbookers Group staff and partners, alongside media partners and national and luxury leisure-focused rail providers, to RBG’s third annual Global Summit.
The event, which is being hosted at the stunning Mediterranean-style Hilton Lake Las Vegas, kicked off on Monday night (local time) with a buffet dinner in the Medici, a restaurant looking out to the hotel’s Florentine-style gardens and extraordinarily large fire pit.
RBG president & CEO Frank Marini will officially open the Global Summit, this year celebrating “The Renaissance of Rail”, tomorrow morning in the event’s opening session.
“The Global Summit has become the highlight of our year – a place where our partners, suppliers, and team members come together to shape the future of rail travel,” Marini said.
“Each year, the energy and collaboration only grow stronger, and I can’t wait to see what new ideas and opportunities emerge in Las Vegas this year.”
A panel of leaders from national and destination rail companies – Trenitalia, Amtrak, Eurostar, Swiss Travel System, and Alaska Railroad – will gather on stage for an informative panel discussion on the latest trends and developments in the industry, while updates from RBG’s marketing department will be shared.
Other highlights include the annual vendor trade show, where partners from the rail, hospitality, sightseeing and others meet face-to-face with RBG staff to learn and engage.

The Summit will also feature panels and roundtable discussions exploring growth trends, emerging technologies. There will also be trade shows and media workshops throughout the days, as well as updates from across the company, including new products to be announced during the event.
Among the sessions, this year’s keynote speaker Blake Morgan, a customer experience futurist and bestselling author, will share her insights on how brands can elevate the customer journey through innovation and personalisation.

Serving as emcee for the event is Emmy-winning television host and travel expert Samantha Brown, who will also share from her decades in the industry before Marini officially kicked off the event with his annual update.
The first night will conclude with a Vegas-themed welcome reception, complete with table games, entertainment and other themed activities.
