Mary Rossi Travel has announced a leadership change, with Lee-Anne Barrett stepping into the role of general manager.
Barrett has been with Mary Rossi Travel for the past two years and will now lead the agency as it continues its next phase of growth.
She takes over the role previously held by Michael Schiscka, who joined Mary Rossi Travel in January 2012 as a travel advisor before being promoted to general manager in 2019.
During his time in the role, Schiscka oversaw several key milestones for the business, including the sale of Mary Rossi Travel to Sharyn Kitchener and Penny Spencer five years ago, when the agency changed hands on the first day of Sydney’s COVID-19 lockdown. Schiscka will be staying on in an advisor capacity.
Kitchener and Spencer said Barrett’s appointment brings continuity to the business, noting her strong understanding of the Mary Rossi Travel brand and its culture.
The agency, one of Australia’s long-standing luxury travel specialists, continues to operate under the ownership of Kitchener and Spencer.
