How are you staying fit both physically and mentally?
So many things… I am a massive extrovert and always on the go so exercise has been my go-to, to burn off all my energy. F45 at home, running, riding my bike, walking – you name it, I have tried it!
What’s the one thing keeping you sane?
Music, DIY projects and FaceTime – as long as I can have a sing-a-long while doing it, anything can be fun.
What’s something positive you’ve witnessed or experienced since the coronavirus hit?
The love and support that we have in the travel industry has blown me away. I have always known that we are surrounded by absolute legends, but the way that each person has been reaching out to help is inspiring.
Our authentic and common love for travel is spine-tingling.
What have you learned about yourself amid the crisis?
I am not as hopeless at DIY projects as I thought, and I don’t have to wait for my dad to visit to get projects done.
What’s your advice for others in the travel industry on coping with the crisis?
Stay relevant. Keep your knowledge up and use this time to do the things that we wouldn’t normally have time to do such as update your database, learn about a new destination, do a small course in marketing – anything to benefit you in the long run.
This will be over soon and you want to ensure that you are using your time wisely!
