Lina Trimarchi has moved to the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport, after almost four years at Aurora Expeditions.
The former director of trade, partnerships and direct marketing APAC and EMEA for Aurora has spent over 10 years in marketing roles within the cruise industry.
Her extensive experience includes roles at Scenic, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, and Cruise Office Australia, as well as a stint at Qantas as trade & partnerships marketing executive. Now, Trimarchi is swapping boats for bureaucrats.
Her new position as senior associate, program delivery at the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner will see her manage key partnerships to create a more inclusive, diverse night-time economy for New South Wales.
Led by commissioner Michael Rodriguez, the Office of the 24-hour Economy works with businesses, councils and the community to strengthen the state’s after-dark events, venues and communities.
The office forms part of the broader umbrella of the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sports.
