Lisa Pile has been appointed to the newly created role of vice president Sales & general manager in Asia Pacific for both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
This strategic dual‑brand leadership role is central to the cruise lines’ ambitious growth plans in the Asia Pacific region and reflects a significant investment in strengthening both brands’ presence in one of the world’s most dynamic luxury travel markets, RSSC said in the announcement.
Pile will oversee all commercial, sales, and strategic growth initiatives for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises across Asia Pacific. Her deep regional expertise and proven leadership will be instrumental in driving the next phase of luxury cruise growth, while unlocking the significant growth opportunities ahead.
“Together, the two brands create a harmonious presence in the market, offering discerning guests a curated spectrum of luxury travel experiences within the portfolio. Under her guidance, Pile will elevate the luxury cruise lines within the market while preserving each brand’s distinct identity and value proposition,” the announcement said.

“I am delighted to announce this expanded remit for Lisa across our vitally important Asia Pacific markets,” said Steve Odell, senior vice president International and Consumer Sales, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Lisa brings a wealth of experience from her distinguished career, not only within cruise, but across the wider luxury hospitality sector, ensuring both Oceania Cruises and Regent are exceptionally well‑positioned for the future.”
A respected figure within both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises since 2015, Pile brings extensive insight into Asia’s diverse luxury travel markets, having lived and worked in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Bangkok, and Singapore. This regional expertise positions her to accelerate both brands’ expansion and elevate their engagement with luxury travellers, trade partners, and emerging luxury markets.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to position both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises at the forefront of the industry, showcasing a diverse mix of unparalleled cruise experiences,” Pile said.
“A key focus for me will be deepening our relationships with local travel partners, ensuring they have the tools, support, and insights needed to thrive. Together, we will drive meaningful growth for both brands and further strengthen our leadership in this rapidly expanding luxury market.”
James Sitters, director of Sales Australia and New Zealand, will continue to lead the Oceania Cruises team and will now report directly to Lisa in her expanded role.
These developments come at a time of exciting momentum for both brands with the unveiling of Oceania Cruises’ ninth ship, Oceania Sonata, including her maiden season of itineraries, while Regent will also welcome a brand-new ship class in December 2026, with Seven Seas Prestige setting sail on her inaugural voyage.
