Los Cabos Tourism hosted an exclusive famil, inviting five luxury travel agents to experience the wellness, culinary, and adventure offerings that make Los Cabos a premier destination.
Over six days, the agents explored world-class resorts, indulged in the region’s vibrant culinary scene, and enjoyed rejuvenating wellness experiences.
Hosted by Australian trade representative for Los Cabos Tourism, Paola Zevallos, the trip showcased Los Cabos as the ultimate luxury escape, especially for Australians seeking a sunny retreat from the winter chill. With May and June temperatures averaging 30C, the destination offers an ideal sun-soaked getaway.
The five hosted agents included Lara Vale and Kelly Campbell from Savenio, Jacquiline Leeman from Emma Whiting Travel, Sophie Christopoulos from 303 Travel, and Lauren Murphy from Focus Travel Group. They enjoyed an exclusive, personalised experience that highlighted the best of what Los Cabos has to offer.
Wellness highlights included a tranquil cacao ceremony at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, a rejuvenating spa treatment at Chileno Bay Resort, and a morning bike ride through San José del
Cabo, with bikes provided by Viceroy Los Cabos, allowing agents to uncover the town’s hidden gems.
The culinary experiences were equally exceptional. Agents dined at some of Los Cabos’ finest restaurants, including Nao in San José del Cabo and COMAL at Chileno Bay Resort, both of which are featured in the Mexico Michelin Guide. A private sailing tour and a self-guided tour of San José del Cabo’s Art Walk, a vibrant cultural event held every Thursday from November to May, offered further insight into the region’s rich heritage, dynamic arts scene and diverse local flavours.
Adventure seekers in the group were treated to a range of thrilling activities, including a 4×4 Jeep tour, a hike to the breathtaking Sol de Mayo waterfall, and a visit to the charming town of Todos Santos. Kelly Campbell even had the opportunity to dive in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
“Just returned from an epic luxury adventure in Los Cabos,” she said. “Stunning hotels, hidden gems like the Sol de Mayo oasis and Todos Santos, and incredible food, from local favorites to world-class dining by the sea.
“The highlight was two unforgettable dives in Cabo Pulmo, swimming with bull sharks and drifting through schools of jackfish, capped off by an amazing encounter with humpback whales. Los Cabos was full of surprises and absolutely deserves a spot on everyone’s bucket list!”
In addition to its many attractions, the famil highlighted the value of Los Cabos as a great stopover destination for travellers visiting the United States, Canada or Mexico.
With its rich natural landscapes, world-class wellness offerings, and exceptional culinary experiences, Los Cabos is fast becoming a must-visit destination for luxury travellers.
