Luxury Escapes has officially opened a new office in Brisbane, marking a strategic expansion of its Australian footprint and signalling a sharpened focus on retail and B2B distribution.
The move comes with the recruitment of a senior manager in Retail Travel Distribution, a newly created role tasked with leading and scaling one of the company’s most important growth channels. Based at its new HQ in Brisbane, the position will oversee retail partnerships, affiliate networks and broader B2B strategy, with a clear mandate to drive commercial performance and meaningful revenue growth.
The hire reflects Luxury Escapes’ increasing emphasis on diversifying beyond its core direct-to-consumer flash sale model, building stronger ties with travel agents, affiliates and third-party distributors.
Founded in Melbourne in 2013, Luxury Escapes has grown rapidly into one of Australia’s most recognisable travel brands, offering curated holiday packages, hotels and experiences to a global customer base. The company’s headquarters remain in Melbourne, supported by a growing network of offices across Sydney and international hubs including Bangalore.

The addition of Brisbane strengthens its east coast presence and places the business closer to Queensland’s booming travel market, as well as a large base of retail travel agents.
The senior manager role will take end-to-end ownership of distribution strategy, spanning partner acquisition, relationship management and revenue optimisation. The company said the focus will be on building a high-performing network that delivers quality bookings rather than just scale.
The expansion comes as competition intensifies across both online and traditional distribution channels, with travel brands increasingly investing in hybrid models that blend direct sales with trade engagement.
