Etihad Airways has partnered up with UK-based charter specialist Chapman Freeborn to promote its The Residence and First Apartment cabins available on Etihad’s Airbus A380 fleet.

Etihad’s top-tier clientele can now experience the same levels of luxury, discretion and technology associated with travelling by private jet on Etihad’s long-haul network.

Etihad Airways’ senior vice president of marketing, Shane O’Hare spoke of the unrivalled innovation and comfort of the airline’s A380s.

“We have elevated the travel experience for premium guests,” he said.

Etihad Airways’ A380s currently operate three daily services from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow, and one between Abu Dhabi and Sydney. On 1 December, Etihad will deploy an A380 on one of its two daily flights from Abu Dhabi to New York JFK.

Guests travelling in The Residence and First Apartments will be able to charter through Chapman Freeborn’s large, diverse fleet of executive jets for travel onwards from Etihad Airways’ A380 gateways, providing a point-to-point experience to their final destination.

“Chapman Freeborn’s customers can now enjoy a private jet experience on the largest passenger aircraft in the world, and the infrastructure of a world-leading airline operating to primary gateway airports,” O’Hare said.

Chapman Freeborn ceo, Russi Batliwala said Etihad was the perfect fit for their private jet services.

“Etihad Airways is at the forefront of the commercial aviation industry, leading the way with its Residence and First Class cabin innovations.”

Passengers staying in The Residence and First Apartments have full inflight connectivity, including Wi-Fi and mobile services, advanced personal entertainment systems, and luxury chauffeur transfers to and from airports served by Etihad Airways’ A380 fleet.

The Residence provides three-room cabins measuring 125 square feet, including a living room, double bedroom, private bathroom, Savoy-trained Butler and an on-board Chef.

The Etihad Lifestyle Concierge Team delivers a highly personalised experience with a range of services such as dining reservations, entertainment bookings, destination and lifestyle services.

On the ground, a VIP Concierge team assists guests with check-in and security formalities, dovetailing with Chapman Freeborn’s global private jet service.
