The Luxury Travel Collection (LTC) has added eight New Zealand travel agencies to its membership base through a deal with newly formed group Complete Ltd.

The agencies joining LTC are ATPI Travel, Bon Voyage Cruises & Travel, Cruise Connections, Holland Clarke & Beatson Travel, Stars Travel International Auckland, Stars Travel International New Plymouth, The Private Travel Company and Travel Connections.

LTC said the addition extends its presence in New Zealand, where it has had dedicated representation since appointing Kelly de Graaf as head of luxury brands NZ.

The collection has recorded double-digit member growth each year since launching in December 2023.

LTC general manager Nikki Glading said the Complete membership was a milestone for the business.

“LTC has always believed the future of luxury travel belongs to communities, not networks – communities that invest in their members, champion their partners and continually raise the standard for the industry,” Glading said.

“Complete shares our ambition to raise the standard of luxury travel across Australia and New Zealand, and together we can offer members far greater collective scale and influence than any network alone.”

De Graaf said the membership reflected LTC’s investment in the New Zealand market.

“One of the things that makes LTC different is our commitment to investing locally,” de Graaf said. “Having dedicated leadership on the ground means we’re not simply supporting New Zealand from afar – we’re building relationships, understanding our members and creating genuine opportunities for our partners every day.”

Complete Ltd founder Malcolm MacLeod said the agencies had been looking for more than a standard network arrangement.

“Complete was built on the belief that good people, exceptional product and a strong culture are the foundations of successful travel businesses. From our earliest conversations it was clear LTC shared those same values,” MacLeod said.

“Our agencies wanted more than a network – they wanted partnerships, meaningful education and the strength that comes from a genuine community.”

LTC operates as a members-based collection for independent luxury travel agencies across Australia and New Zealand.
