Malaysia Airlines has announced the final extension of its MH E-vouchers validity and flight re-booking options to eligible customers until 31 March 2023.
Customers who have held existing tickets issued for travel between 1 January 2020 and 29 October 2022 and have been unable to travel due to flight changes or disruptions will have the option to rebook their travel by 31 March 2023 including a once-off free date change, with all service fees and fare differences waived subject to airline terms and conditions.
The Malaysian Airlines E-voucher is a new payment method available to MH flyers that enables direct booking through the MH website or app.
“Since March 2020, Malaysia Airlines has accommodated many of its customers whose travel plans have been disrupted due to border restrictions, by allowing them to convert their existing flight bookings to E-vouchers with the flexibility to rebook their travels over an extended travel period validity,” said Ahmad Lugman Mohd Azmi, chief executive officer of airlines from Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) as he was announcing the extension.
“At the heart of our organisation lies the belief that customers are our centre of gravity.
“With the prolonged movement and border restrictions, we have offered six validity extension rounds with more than 600,000 coupons issued inclusive of open tickets and MH E-vouchers.
“We now encourage passengers to seize this final validity extension opportunity to use their vouchers to book their upcoming travel before it expires on 31 March 2023.”
Customers holding MH E-vouchers are encouraged to rebook their tickets ahead of time to enjoy greater savings for immediate travel until 30 June 2023.
