Let’s be honest, at one point or another we’ve all wanted to climb onto the luggage carousel and go for a ride.
We know it’s pretty much the same as spinning equipment in a playground, but that only makes it more enticing.
Well it seems one man’s desire to hop on the carousel may have gotten the better of him, as the traveller feigned being very distracted and ‘accidentally’ jumped on.
Now, it may well have been an accident, until of course he makes a run for the tarmac, at which point this story goes from a liberating tale about a man enjoying spin, to one about a possibly deranged traveller.
CCTV image shows him first casually strolling past a security checkpoint, and then diving headfirst onto the carousel at the Miami International Airport.
According to The Sun, he then accessed a highly classified area that most airport employees don’t have access to.
After attempting to escape onto the runway, the unidentified man was then caught by police. And herein ends his airport adventure.
A source said: “Had there been a plane at that gate, this individual could have entered the plane or had access to the aircraft.
“This is a very restricted area, only accessible to some with very limited access, and he was able to gain access.
“Very concerning.”
