Manly Pacific hotel will transition to Elysium Manly, marking the luxury hospitality brand’s second property and its first in Sydney.
Elysium launched in Noosa before expanding to the beachfront Manly site. The brand centred its offering on design, dining and a guest-led approach to service.
The rebrand followed a near $40 million transformation of the property completed in 2025. That investment included a $30 million refurbishment of guestrooms and suites led by design house Coco Republic, and $8.5 million spent creating Italian restaurant Cibaria, led by Alessandro and Anna Pavoni and designed by Luchetti Krelle. Cibaria received a Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Hat following its opening.
The hotel’s owners said occupancy, average daily rate and revenue had reached record levels since the refurbishment was completed.
Elysium Manly will continue to operate under general manager Dylan Cole, who will remain in the role through the transition.
“Manly Pacific has built a strong reputation as one of Sydney’s most iconic hotels in the Australian landscape, and this next chapter allows us to build on that foundation with a more considered expression of coastal luxury,” Cole said.

“The investment made across accommodation, design, dining and service has transformed the guest experience. Elysium brings those elements together under a singular vision, while continuing to deliver the warmth, authenticity and sense of place that our guests value most,” Cole said.
The hotel’s existing Coco Republic-designed interiors will remain, with in-room amenities updated to align with the Elysium standard. Products will include ranges from Hermès, ESPA and Grown Alchemist.
Other planned additions include floral installations by florist Saskia Havekes of Grandiflora, a signature fragrance and a soundscape developed by music curator Mitchell Wick.
Existing bookings at the hotel will be honoured through the transition. The hotel’s owners said further details on the rebrand would be released ahead of the Elysium Manly launch in August.
