Marriott hotels have hit No. 4 in the Large Company category on Great Place to Work’s Australia’s Best Workplaces 2024 list, rising two places from 2023.
Marriott International Inc. said it is testament to the company’s continued focus on growing great leaders, investing in associates, and providing access to opportunity.
“Building a workplace where every individual can thrive is our ultimate goal at Marriott International,” Natasha Rasheed, Area Director HR – ANZP, said. “We believe that by fostering an environment of inclusivity, empowerment, and continuous growth, we create a foundation for our associates to excel personally and professionally.”
Area vice president, ANZP, Jason Nuell said it was a testament to the company’s commitment to putting people first and ensuring that their well-being remains at the heart of its organisational success.
“We’re delighted to be establishing a foothold as a leading employer, not only in the region’s accommodation sector, but in the country. Our family of strong global brands, our pipeline of hotels to come, and our powerful loyalty program Marriott Bonvoy, make us a strong choice for hospitality associates to want to be part of our company.”
The successful achievement marks another positive result for the hotel company, which has 5000 associates in Australia and has opened two new hotels already in Australia in 2024, expanding their footprint to 46 operating Hotels and Resorts in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
