Marriott Bonvoy returns to the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix this year as the preferred hotel partner and the presenting partner of the exclusive Marriott Bonvoy Lounge for the fifth year running.

Marriott’s trackside presence will deliver luxury hospitality, access to premium racing viewing and exclusive unmatched experiences for members and guests, along with the best of Melbourne’s accommodation across its ten premium and luxury hotels.

The Marriott Bonvoy Lounge brings together Marriott International’s world-renowned service and luxury design, taking guests into a world of personalised experiences. Throughout the race weekend, Marriott Bonvoy will host MBV members, corporate clients, media and a series of special guests offering immersive ‘pinch me’ moments and a behind-the-scenes view of the world’s most technically advanced motorsport race.

Sean Hunt, Area Vice President of Australia, New Zealand and Pacific for Marriott International said,

“Marriott Bonvoy’s purpose is to connect people through the power of travel and there is no greater platform to do that than Formula 1,” area VP (AU/NZ/Pacific), Marriott International, Sean Hunt, said.

“This is our fifth year of the partnership tenure and we aim to complement the electrifying atmosphere of the world’s richest motorsport event, which of course allows us to capitalise on the demand in Melbourne to drive larger commercial returns.

“We look forward to offering our guests curated hospitality experiences and opportunities to access the pits and drivers that make this sport so unique and special. Our members travel far and wide to experience incredible F1 moments and we can’t wait to show them how well we do it here in Melbourne.”

Australian Grand Prix Corporation CEO, Travis Auld said the Marriott Bonvoy Lounge is one of the most sought-after destinations at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit.

“We are delighted to continue this partnership with Marriott, which brings the very best in glamour, hospitality and entertainment right to the heart of our event,” Auld, said.

The design of the Marriott Bonvoy lounge will encapsulate the essence of Marriott’s suite of luxury and premium Melbourne properties with plush seating options, multiple bars with premium food and beverage offerings, Marriott’s world-class hospitality along with enriched colour palettes and ambient music creating a warm and inviting feel.

The lounge is located at the gateway to the Paddock Club™ and pit lanes where guests will experience views of Melbourne Walk and the city skyline through floor to ceiling windows, with access to a viewing deck for top-tier visibility of the race track.

In addition, increased technology incorporated throughout the lounge, including a number of high-resolution LED screens, will allow guests to be immersed in live-stream content while enjoying the lounge hospitality.

Exclusive Formula One Rolex Australian Grand Prix events, such as the highly anticipated Glamour On The Grid – an exclusive invite-only cocktail party on the racetrack attended by Australia’s A-List talent spanning sport, fashion and culture, held prior to the racing weekend will be available to guests and members.

Marriott Bonvoy’s incredible lineup of experiences over the FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 aim to fuel the passions of its members with money-can’t-buy opportunities, exclusive lounge access and premium racing experiences.

As part of Marriott International’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, the walls and façade from the hospitality suite at the Australian Open 2024 (as well as last year’s Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit activation) being transformed and reused to create a 12-metre bar on the main floor of the Marriott Bonvoy Lounge.
