The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) hosted an evening of grandeur and opulence last week during its Signature Event 2012.
Almost 400 of MCEC's guests filled the Grand Banquet Room and were treated to an evening that showcased the in-house audio visual, theming and culinary options available at the venue.
Crystal chandeliers glistened over head and Katie Noonan's soulful voice filled the room while endless plates of food flowed from the kitchen, all matched by wines sourced from surrounding regions. In between dinner and dessert, the Ten Tenors took to the stage and entertained guests with their performances.
Now in its second year, the Signature Event is a chance for MCEC clients to experience the adaptability of the space and hopes to evolve into an annual "must attend" event on every Melbourne and business events calendar. For more images of the evening, visit The Nibbler Facebook page
