Associate member of Helloworld Travel, Tripaway Cruise & Travel have announced that they are moving all five of their Queensland-based retail stores to the fully branded network of Helloworld Travel.

On top of that, they are re-signing their corporate store to the Helloworld Business Travel network to capitalise on the traction Helloworld’s corporate arm gathers.

Based on the Gold Coast and Tweed Valley, Tripaway Cruise & Travel and their business division, Tripaway Corporate Travel, operate six teams with retail stores in Elanora, Coolangatta, Tweed Heads, Tweed Heads South and Murwillumbah.

The corporate division operates from their head office at Palm Beach.

First opening in the Tweed City Shopping Centre in 2008, the Tripaway Cruise & Travel teams, headed up by Managing Director Andrew Moloney, have gone from strength to strength under the Helloworld Travel associate model.

Helloworld Travel Limited CEO and Managing Director, Andrew Burnes said that this move is a demonstration of the strength and value in the Helloworld Travel fully branded network.

“It is terrific to welcome Tripaway Cruise and Travel into the branded network of Helloworld Travel Limited,” Burnes said.

“Seeing a successful business like this make the transition from our associate network into becoming a branded member is a progression we have worked hard to encourage, and one we have no doubt will bring real results and benefits to both sides of the business into the future.”

Tripaway Cruise & Travel Managing Director Andrew Moloney said it was an easy decision to transition their leisure stores across to the branded network.

“We see tremendous value in the Helloworld Travel fully branded and corporate networks and this decision is one we have been considering for some time,” he said.

“We know that Helloworld Travel is making an investment in the future for independently owned agencies and with the recent work that has been done on the brand with the increased consumer advertising and now with the updated name and logo we knew it was the ideal time to make the switch.”

David Padman, Head of Corporate, Associate and Affiliate Networks at Helloworld Travel Limited agreed.

“This move shows the power of the Helloworld Travel brand for both our brand-carrying networks of fully branded and associate stores is stronger than ever,” Padman added.

“And with the success of our advertising and consumer marketing we’re seeing more and more interest from owners wanting to be part of our networks, both branded and associate.”
